Two boats qualified for the 1st annual BYC Summer Cruise.  For those of you who were scrambling for points at the last minute to join us this year but just couldn't qualify, you missed a great time!  Better luck next year.

In keeping with the BYC motto, we had no plan.  We ended up in Hood Canal for a week and then South Sound for another.

Views.jpg (12822 bytes) Blue skies, sunshine and no wind.  What more could you want with your sailboat?
MD3.jpg (11500 bytes) OK, so every once in a Moondance we sailed.
Windriven.
Sub.jpg (14127 bytes) The government watched us closely but eventually we "lost" them!
Rainier.jpg (9984 bytes) Mt. Rainier.

The scenery was great but we were really there for the Fun, Food and Games...

Rescue.jpg (13845 bytes) Kayak training with Captain Bob!

(Stearns Inflatable Kayaks, the only kayak endorsed by Bob's Yacht Club!)

Angie2.jpg (18038 bytes) Once you have had your first lesson, this isn't so bad!  Especially if you're not in 2 knots of current and 20 knots of wind!
BobCrab.jpg (12708 bytes) OK, which one is the crab?
Crabs.jpg (15026 bytes) Who's got crab legs?

Crab every day but two!

Sequence, official game of Bob's Yacht Club.  Pirateer, a close 2nd.

It was a great time, start collecting your points now for next year!
